Low Buy Challenge – Week 3

So, how is the challenge going, you ask? I am so glad you asked. I was getting a bit worried because I wasn’t all that inspired with the first two palettes of this low buy challenge. I was actually feeling quite disappointed and somewhat discouraged. However! The palette selection for this week, plus the sunshine and warm weather we’re having 😎 , changed that for me.

The palette of the week was the Too Faced Clover palette.

This is laid out like the TF Sweet Peach palette with 18 pans that are all the same size. There are 9 mattes (Lucky Clover, Chihuahua, Fur Baby, Paw Print, Love is Love, Woof, Cuddle Buddy, Daddies ❤ Me, Good Boy), 6 shimmers (#savethemall, Spoiled, Ruh Roh, Wet Kisses, Cuteness overload, Best Friends), 2 matte with sparkles (Puppy Eyes, I Ruff You), and one shimmer with sparkles (TF Mascot). It costs $49 and is exclusively sold on the TF website. You can purchase it here.

I was inspired to do several looks this week and I didn’t even get to complete all the looks I was inspired to do. This palette has good versatility, pops of color, and one of my favorite blue/red/brown duochrome shades that makes the color of my eyes (green) pop! I preferred to use Best Friends (the duochrome) and TF Mascot (the purple) over top of a shadow stick vs. on the lid by themselves. The shadow stick made them pop as well as last all day without fading. Wet kisses (the rusty, bronze, orange shimmer) is one of my favorite colors in this palette. I think it is one of the most flattering lower lash line colors for my eyes and dark circle issues. I don’t know what it is about this color, but every time I wear it on the lower lash line, I really love the look. Check out the looks I did on my Instagram page here. P.S. Please hit that follow button and like my pictures when you stop by! 😉

My overall thoughts – I love this palette. It inspires me to be creative and I love all the looks I completed this week. I really enjoyed using this palette and I will definitely be keeping this in my collection.

How about you? Do you have this palette or plan to pick it up? Let me know if you do!
